We want to share an update regarding where you’ll find Faith Christian School athletic/activities information moving forward.WisSports.net was the primary hub for high school athletics in Wisconsin. Recently, WisSports was purchased by MaxPreps, which now operates the site on a national model. Because most Wisconsin schools had long relied on WisSports for schedules and statistics, this change has created a significant statewide transition.At the same time, many major platforms used by schools were bought out and reorganized—rSchool was purchased by Arbiter, and our VNN athletic website was acquired by GoFan. As a result, school districts across Wisconsin have spent the past year evaluating new systems and attending meetings with multiple companies—including MaxPreps, Bound, and Just-A-Game—to determine the best path forward.After careful consideration, the Lake City Conference decided to move toward the Bound platform beginning next school year. We are excited about Bound because it offers more of the features schools need in one location. At least three other conferences in southeastern Wisconsin have also made this move, which helps build consistency across our region.Although Bound will officially become our full athletic platform next school year, we have already begun implementing it. This year, the Lake City Conference has boys and girls basketball reporting statistics through Bound.As of today, you can already find rosters, schedules, photos, scores, articles, and more on our Bound page. https://www.gobound.com/wi/schools/faithchris👉 We do ask for patience as we continue learning the system and uploading information. Today four of our high school student-athletes and Athletic Director had the opportunity to attend the WIAA Leadership Summit in Stevens Point.They got to hear from incredible speakers on leadership, citizenship and sportsmanship efforts with a high-impact of growth, connection and inspiration. They also were challenged to step outside of their comfort zone and participate in activities to meet and talk to other student-athletes.Sophomore John Curry said one thing he wants to put into action as a baseball team captain is to “lead with humility when providing constructive criticism to his teammates.”Each of them gained knowledge in leadership and are excited to put what they learned into action on and off the court/field.#fcseagles #faithchristianschoolathletics #elevate
